Bringing High School Education to Our Community

The SJMEC Internet High School Program provides flexible and accessible secondary school education for students in the community.

Through online learning, students can work toward their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) while remaining in their home community. Students will access Ontario high school courses online while receiving support from qualified teachers and local classroom staff.

How the Program Works

Students will:

• • Attend a local classroom at SJMEC.
  • Take Ontario high school courses through an online learning platform.
  • Receive support from online teachers and local staff.
  • Complete lessons, assignments, quizzes, and other learning activities.
  • Receive guidance with course selection and graduation requirements.
  • Work toward their OSSD at an appropriate pace.

Who Can Participate?

The program can support current high school students, students who need additional credits, students returning to school, and adult learners who want to complete their high school diploma.
